Marshall “Kupi” Ander, 74, beloved husband and best friend of Sheila nee Schneider for 49 wonderful years; loving and dedicated father of Alise (Paul) Luke, Cherie Getlin and Jennifer Weininger; cherished Zadie of Zachary and Max Luke, Garrett and Hannah Getlin and Emma and Dylan Weininger; devoted son of the late Rose and Nathan Ander; dear brother of Sandra (Bernie) Stelzer and Perry Ander; treasured brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend of many. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Congregation Beth Shalom, CJE Senior Life and the American Lung Association. Chapel Service Wednesday 10 AM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Marshall brought so much joy and laughter to our little group of Carson’s Home Store associates. Yesterday, after learning of his death, I was so saddened but also smiled at my thoughts of all the wonderful and funny things he did. I so enjoyed working with him and thinking that he was such a genuinely kind person, interested in people and everything going on around him. I smile through my tears knowing I was lucky enough to enjoy his friendship as long as I did. There will never be another Marshall.
